Something feels off and you can't explain why.

Understanding changes in mood, focus, and how you feel in midlife.

When You Don't Feel Like Yourself Anymore

Something has changed.

Things don't feel the same lately.

You’re more overwhelmed, more reactive, or less confident than before.

Your mind feels scattered or foggy and you can’t concentrate the way you used to.

You might find yourself thinking:

“This isn’t me.”

“Why can’t I handle things the way I used to?"

“Why do I feel so off?”

If this feels familiar, you’re not alone—and you’re not imagining it.

What's Going On

For many women in midlife, this experience is driven by a combination of factors:

Hormonal changes, including perimenopause

Shifts in cognitive function (focus, memory, mental clarity)

Changes in emotional regulation and stress tolerance

Evolving roles, relationships, and identity

These changes can look like anxiety, depression, ADHD, or burnout—but often don’t fit neatly into any one category.

That’s why so many women feel confused, misdiagnosed, or like they should be able to “figure it out” on their own.

Your Old Strategies Aren't Working

You may have tried to push through, adjust, or “get back to normal.” But the strategies that worked before may not be working the same way now.

That doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It means something has changed—and it needs a different approach.

You're In The

Right Place If...

  • You feel “off” but can’t fully explain why

  • Your focus, mood, or confidence has shifted

  • You’ve tried to figure it out on your own without clear answers

  • You’re navigating midlife or perimenopause-related changes

  • You want more than just coping—you want clarity, change, and healing

How Therapy
Can Help

Therapy can help you:

  • Make sense of what’s actually happening

  • Reduce self-doubt and second-guessing

  • Understand patterns that are no longer working

  • Learn new ways to respond that fit who you are now

This isn’t about labeling you.

It’s about helping you feel more like yourself again.

Meet Guen

Hi! I'm Guen Morr.

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and Professional Certified Coach with nearly 20 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck.

In recent years, I've become especially interested in the emotional and cognitive changes many women experience during midlife and perimenopause.

As someone who has personally navigated this stage of life, I understand how confusing it can be when your mood, focus, confidence, or sense of self suddenly feels different than it used to.

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening, identify what's no longer working, and create a path forward that helps you feel more grounded, confident, and like yourself again.

Are you ready?

You don’t need a perfect explanation to get started.

If something feels off, that’s enough.
